Afraid I won't be going on the Peaks Road Trip as that week end, I have been offered a seat in a Spitfire! which may end up in a flight 😎 .

Another pictorial update. The suspension is on and roughly setup, I now need to make spacers for the rose joints. The boot's not looking to bad either.

Time for another update on progress. The modifications are almost complete. All that needs to be done is finish the boot and fit the exhausts.

Success, first test drive today, MoT and back, every thing seemed to be good. Hand brake needs to be looked at (skimming off the discs). Passed the MoT. So ready to take to the Spitfire event on Saturday. 😎

Well what can I say now, but it's finished and back on the road, the suspension seems to be working as intended. Apart from a slight oops (hole drilled into top of one fuel pump 🙄  ) all is going well on the test drives.

Great job - looks very nice, Baz.  You now have a week to get up to Derbyshire to complete the Peaks Tour, as penance for not doing it at the right time.  It'll be a bit lonely but well worth it for the views, and will be a decent road test for the rear end.  Yours, or the car's?  You decide.  Those roads can be slippy.

Nice job Barry, look forward to seeing it soon , assuming you get round the Peaks ok!
