There's a slight possibility that a run of correct-pattern chrome two-eared 42mm 8tpi spinners could be made to the attached design.

Before this can go any further, would any interested please let me know likely numbers?

Thanks, Roger

Roger, I would estimate 4 per car would do the trick...

Yes please, I would be interested.

For that, you get three, smartypants.

Thanks Dave, we’ll see how it goes. Gerry doesn’t have any correct ones but has discussed them with the manufacturer and we are investigating further.

Don't commit until you've spoken to me Roger.  Nicky and I are having dinner this Saturday with a friend who sold an engineering factory in Hailsham where I remember seeing loads of these (albeit with MG logos) sitting in bins.  I'll show him this thread and see if he can help.

Thanks Colin - however the cost is not in the spinners, it's in the die stamps.  Dave Wood already has die stamps for the AC logo in the centre so it's sorting out the lettering etc. around the outer circumference that's needed.  A new die stamping tool for the centre would be very expensive, well into four figures, raising the price considerably.  That said, if your friend already has an 'AC' die stamp he might be able to help.

Roger,

I'm sure you have already seen the AC spinners supplied by MWS there in the UK. I have a set that I purchased along with their painted wire wheels and I have been very pleased.

I have Jim, that's what I have at the present.   They are very different to what was fitted originally, as shown in my first post.
