Hi Martin,

Thanks for your support, but in the meantime I spoke to Jim Price from Hi-Tech / Superformance SA. He first said that I should probably have the steering rack out of a VW Golf 1 in my Cobra. After some more discussion, he said that the VW rack came later, so in his opinion the steering rack of my car would probably came from a Ford Cortina but this is nothing new for me an also not the case as already discussed above.

So, currently I still have no answer to my question and the search goes on.

BTW... Even if 2020 is already some days old, let me wish you all health and all the best for the new year!
