Nice & quiet

Just got the car back from my local Classic Workshop after having a replacement diff fitted. What a nice 'quiet' car it is now 🙄

Also had another oil change to engine and gearbox as my first was a little too early at 380miles due to the Le Mans trip / Silverstone and I've now covered 1950 miles. Gearbox was lovely and clean this time, not a drop of gold paint in sight like the first change.

This change will see me through what's left of this year and all of next.

Dale, as a personal choice I'd do another engine oil and filter change next year - oil is much cheaper than engines and it can't hurt.

My logic (rightly or wrongly) is that I'll only be putting on another 100 or so more miles on the car this year so couldn't see the point of a change in spring next year

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that logic Dale and then change the oil before the 2020 season.
