Yes, Registered as a Hawk. It’s funny isn’t it...he had no idea he was driving just a few yards from where mine is garaged. Makes you wonder what sort of interesting stuff is garaged just around where you live.........

Any yesterday, a 289 FIA rumbled past me (Barry Jones I think)....looked and sounded fabulous amongst all the bland euroboxes.

Barry’s car is quite distinctive, but he’s currently moving house so unless he was moving it to his new house, he probably doesn’t have time to be out playing in it. 😁

We took our car out for a run into Bedfordshire yesterday and met up with Roger & Morag King in their lovely 289.

I didn’t take any pictures while we were out, but the car got a wash and brush up beforoe we went. 👍🏻

Yes, it was a great day for a picnic and seeing much-missed friends. I didn't get any photos either, probably down to too many euroboxes being parked in the vicinity - but the car did get a perfunctory wipe-over the day before.
