Hi Mark,
What are the differences between and original AC badge and the currently available items?

Most of the current Reproduction ones i have seen are a bit flat.. Script not exact,
The current reproductions are solid, where the originals were hollow in the back and contained casting numbers etc. On the current reproductions, the lower point of the 'C' is too thick and has a bit too much 'chin', which is the only way I can think of describing it...

These should be pretty easy to get reproduced if you have an original to copy....shouldn't they? 🤔

I think Mark's looking for an original. However, the originals start out flat - some have been bent to conform to the bootlid, some haven't. Depends how lucky you feel when you fit it! Shall I, or shan't I?

Yes Roger... If Original parts are available they will be used but nothing wrong with some of the Prepro parts but most are not that true to original form when it comes to Exterior parts..
I have now soursed a Badge.. Happy days... Another rare part ticked off the list..
Well done Mark. 👍
