My old Hawk is now showing as sold on Duncan Hamilton's website - must have been something of a record for a Hawk, they were asking 75K...

Nick Maton did ring me to ask something about the engine as he had someone coming to look a week or two back. I think they dropped the price to £69,995, which must have done the trick. Don't know what he actually paid, but I suspect that's some kind of record for a fibreglass Hawk.

That's good money. I sold my Contemporary Cobra for just over £60k about 25 years ago, which may have been a record price at the time.
