Good evening ladies and gents,

First time poster, so please be gentle with me. My name is Clive and I live in rural Perthshire where roads are quiet and internet is slow. My pride and joy is my Hawk 289 built in 2006 in which I love tootling round the hills and glens.

Hi Clive,

Great to have you with us, you do have some great roads around you, hope to get our Hawk 289 up there one day.

Cheers

Dave

Hi Clive,

welcome to the TCR forum.

I suspect you have a couple more months yet before your car can come out of its winter hibernation.

We’ve been working hard to get my engine back together and back in the car again following its comprehensive rebuild.

Welcome Clive!

I live in Rutland, where the roads are slow, but the internet is fast; I know where I'd rather be...

Don't you believe it - I think Clive uses his for a bit of snowploughing now and then, from what I've seen.   Temperature certainly hasn't curtailed his activities in past years!  I reckon that particular Cobra has covered more snow miles than anyone else's.

Anyway, welcome Clive and good to have you here.

Hi Clive and welcome.  Hope you re keeping well and looking forward to the open roads  😀

Looking forward to catching a beer later in the year and enjoying the cars (not necessarily in that order).

Dave.

Thanks Dave. The roads up here are white with salt so the 'T' car is still in hibernation. It's a lovely warm dry day today so hopefully spring is just around the corner and we'll get out for a blast to blow the cobwebs away.
