The next Cold War Jets Day at Bruntingthorpe is Sunday 27th May, which is the Bank Holiday weekend. If you haven't been, it is well worth going and they generally have allocated parking space for classics and exotics.

If you have never stood on the edge of a runway with a Lightning on full re-heat going past, you have no idea what "LOUD" is. It is an awesome spectacle to behold and a hark back to when Britain truly ruled the skies throughout the world.
If you fancy going, reply on here and we can possibly all go together.

My favourite aircraft Paul, two engines and a pilot, just awesome. The only thing I know louder than your 427 ?
Will give it some thought, a good run out for the 289.
Thanks for this Paul,
Sadly I can't join in the fun as I will be on holiday in Welsh Wales...
I shall however, look forward to seeing an event report in a future edition of the magazine!

The Cold War Jets Day at Bruntingthorpe is this coming weekend, so how many, if any, want to come along?

I am sprinting this coming Sunday. And the following weekend I have an entry for the sprint competition at Motofest, on the Sunday,on closed public roads in the centre of Coventry. Should be interesting.

Love to do it Paul, but in reality a little too far away, and lots keeping me busy here at present.
Rolling road was good with the Cobra, sorted out the engine but now fine tuning the suspension. Very jiggly during my brief drive afterwards.
