Is the Register considering attending the Bicester do on DiD? Or, if not, anything else?

Roger,
The Editor is considering attending this. Is the Historian?

He's thinking about it, but not sure what in. And seeing as DiD is technically a FBHVC event, he really should...

So, the Sunday Scramble at Bicester Heritage for Drive it day - who's interested in going?
I need to do some diary juggling, but it's likely I'll be going in the 427.
Entry is by pre-paid ticket only, which costs £5.00 plus fees, via the Bicester Heritage site.

Sunday's D-i-D Scramble at Bicester is now completely sold out, so look forward to seeing you all there! Hope the weather decides to play ball.
I've also been invited to the first Petrolicious Drivers' Meeting at Bicester on 12th May, with my Mustang as part of the 'curated' central display. Not at all sure how this will pan out but had a professional photographer around last week doing a full shoot of the car, so we'll see. It'll probably be on ebay about now, I expect...

Sadly, I will not be attending this weekends' festivities, due in no small part to not being able to drive either 'it'.
I'll update in the coming weeks with a happier and hopefully more definitive update, or failing that, there will be an addition to the 'Cobra's for sale' section.
Just kidding of course.
Probably.

Great little run out yesterday to Bicester, a splash of rain half way but otherwise just a bit chilly at first. Lots of good stuff to see as usual, very busy, and a nice turn out of our cars. I counted seven over the course of the day but may have missed the odd one. Particularly nice to see David Large out with his BRA.
As ever, a great way to start the season, which promises to be a busy one! Didn't get any photos - anyone else?

It was a good day and great to catch up with with everyone again.
we had a pretty eventful drive back; one guy tried to take Dave B. on a roundabout by pulling out directly on front of him. Dave did incredibly well to avoid hitting him.
Then another guy drove straight at me whilst he was overtaking a line of cars on the A5 and I had to take to the verge to avoid him. 🙄
